Self-in-Sight (“we”, “us”) is operated by Sara Lee, an independent psychotherapist based in Andalusia, Spain. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit this website, contact us, book a conversation, buy a programme, or work with Sara online or at Casa Eden. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

  • Contact data you give us through a booking, email, or WhatsApp (name, email, phone, country).
  • Information you choose to share about your relationship, history, and goals during conversations, sessions, programmes, and intensives.
  • Payment confirmations. Card payments are handled by Stripe or our bank; we never see or store your card details.
  • If you buy The Needs Re‑Set™ or use the Self-in-Sight app: the account details you register with (such as name and email) and your progress in the app.
  • If you sign up for our Love-in-Sight newsletter: your email address.

Why we use it

  • To prepare and deliver sessions, programmes, and intensives.
  • To give you access to digital programmes you have bought.
  • To communicate with you about your booking, schedule, and follow-up.
  • To send emails you have signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To meet legal, accounting, and professional record-keeping obligations.

Legal basis

Performance of our agreement with you, your explicit consent for sensitive (clinical) information and for our email list, and our legal obligations as a healthcare professional.

Confidentiality

Clinical notes and anything shared during sessions are kept confidential under professional secrecy. They are stored separately from administrative data and are never shared without your written consent, except where disclosure is required by law (for example, an imminent risk of serious harm).

Sharing & processors

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the practice: Calendly (booking), Google Workspace (email and notes), WhatsApp (messaging), Stripe and our bank (payments), Passion.io (the Self-in-Sight app), and MailerLite (our Love-in-Sight newsletter). They process data on our behalf under GDPR-compliant terms.

Retention

Clinical records are kept for the period required by health legislation (currently five years after the last session under Spanish law). Administrative and accounting data are kept as required by Spanish tax law.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, or object to its processing. Email sara@self-in-sight.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es) or the data protection authority in your own country.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own website, so visiting it does not send your data to third parties. Booking and payment pages (Calendly, Stripe) are run by those providers under their own privacy policies.
